In additon to our network of coaches and administrators who report in, TexBall also sends out reporters to cover the action. If you have a game coming up that merits full coverage, send in your info 3 days ahead of schedule to our email address, and we'll reply promptly regarding coverage requirements, etc.

APACHES TAKE SECOND AT TRIPLE CROWN TOURNAMENT

The 9U Apaches took the field Friday March 7th to begin their 2003 Spring season with a strong outing against the Power Alley Slam. They won by a 11-4 margin. They went on to finish pool play as the #1 seed. Not until they played the Texas Colts did they allow more than 5 runs in a game.

Even with the loss they finished the tournament VERY strong. They out scored their opponents 52-16. What a way to start the season. GREAT JOB GUYS!! A complete tournament listing is below:

Apaches 19 -- Texas Hornets 0

We would like to also mention that in the game against the Texas Hornets Arik Hughes, Clint Crabtree and Christopher Peck combined to pitch a no hitter!! Go Apaches!!
